Day 81: June 17, 2013- Rainy run and poison ivy

Day 81: 8.02 miles logged, 398.82 to go… 4 mile morning run + 4 mile evening run in the rain = breaking the 600 mile mark!!! Woot! Woot! So… I am guessing that my neighbors think I am totally crazy for running in the rain (I passed quite a few of them on my run), but the temp is so much cooler when you run in the rain versus a muggy 90-100 degree evening. I will share, though, that despite my excitement about my milestone, my poison ivy has gotten worse : (  It’s now on my hand, my stomach, a bit on my leg, and now under my left arm… guess it’s time to head to the doctor. Hoping I don’t have to cut out my miles. I realize that sweat can make it spread, but seriously??!? Grrr!!!! Fingers crossed for good news, and yes, this was yet another reason that I didn’t mind running in the rain tonight… no sweat!
